About Us
The immUNITY Campaign is a University of Iowa student organization created for all students interested in global health on multiple levels. We aim to unify student advocates against vaccine-preventable disease both at home and abroad through awareness, advocacy and fundraising. We envision a global movement which advocates for social justice and ensures the equitable access to life-saving vaccines.
Founded in 2012, we have grown from about a dozen to now about 50 active members.
Did you know that 1.7 million children die each year from a disease that could have been prevented by a vaccination? That is one life every 20 seconds. You can give a child a shot at life by becoming a part of one of the most cost-effective and contemporarily relevant global health solutions for the world's poorest.
